How would you spec it?
We can have image captions now?
I’d have mine in Mythos Black Metallic, with the 7-Speed DSG, Technology package, Sports dif and the adapting suspension. All for $56, 475. (Yes, I would have the automatic one, the DSG is amazing.)

Like this.
*runs*

Sepang Blue Premium Plus with the 6MT, adaptive dampers, TVD, black optics package, tech package, and lunar silver leather. All for just $56,725.

ewwww get out
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:40 |

The configurator for the new S4 isn’t available yet. But I’d take mine in black with ash interior.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:41 |

If you haven’t driven one, then you don’t realize how horrible they are.

![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:43 |

As expensive as possible for max resale value.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:43 |
|
lol, what resale value?
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:46 |
|
whatever’s left when I immediately sell it and pocket the rest. S4 just doesn’t do it for me. Way too tasteful!
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:47 |

I can haz wagon?
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:48 |

![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:48 |

Shame that you can’t get the nice wheels with the black optic pack.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:48 |

White, beige or dark red leather, DSG.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:49 |

With an R in front of it.

Yessssssssss DSG!
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:50 |
|
I know, I hate the ones that come with it. I’d prefer it with the potato peeler wheels.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:50 |

you get out also
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:51 |

Teehee, I have the sport model not the pleb one.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:56 |
|
Good gearbox - and among other reasons, SigOther can’t (and won’t) drive stick.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 12:58 |
|
Driving stick in Manhattan also sounds like hell, haha.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:00 |

What makes it sporty
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:00 |

![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:01 |

It says sport. Duh.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:03 |

![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:04 |
|
Lol, prefer those as well!
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:07 |
|
I’d like my S4 specced like this, thank you very much.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:07 |
|
A B7 that was squirreled away in some rural German Audi dealership.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:07 |
|
that is the 1.8T sport tho
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:08 |
|
I have no idea.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:09 |
|
(joking), I’d spec mine with the DSG, Moonlight blue metallic, brown leather, and the 5-spoke rims.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:09 |
|
Y U NO BMW
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:11 |
|
The only reason the S4 is even still relevant is because it’s one of the very few AWD sports sedans still offered with a manual. They havent REALLY changed it in a dog’s age. I’d love to have one with a manual, but without it, why not get something newer.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:14 |
|
The S4 is ‘TBC’ on the U.K. site. I can spec an A4 but seems the S4 isn’t configurable on the site just yet.
So I will take a Skoda Octavia vRS, 2.0TSi 220ps manual.
The equivalent A4 2.0TFSi 6 speed is £3,000 more and 30ps down on the Octy.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:14 |

Stick and wagon if it's possible cuz unicorn status, all the sports nonsense, and all the things.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:20 |
|
Noooo it's not. The picture you posted is however.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:20 |
|
Not really an issue, because the only reason to use the car would be to get out of the city.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:21 |
|
Sport suspension from the GLI. Front and rear sway bars and lower I think.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:24 |
|
with the new turbo engine, you cant get the manual anymore anyways
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:27 |
|
With the DSG, I hear too many good things about it. Also Vancouver traffic is horrifying.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:32 |
|
Okay then.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:39 |
|
DONE:
http://shop.ford.com/build/mustang/…
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:40 |
|
I’d spec mine like this:
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:44 |
|
Because the new ones suck
![]() 02/28/2016 at 13:50 |
|
False.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 14:00 |
|
Eh, doesn’t do it for me.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 14:10 |
|
can we at least agree on this?
![]() 02/28/2016 at 14:21 |
|
Viper Green. Manual (if they even offer it).
Just Viper green would be fine, really.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 14:33 |
|
Estoril Blue, DSG, Carbon interior trim, same wheels as you, cross stitch bucket seats.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 15:03 |
|
The S4 is one of those rare cars where the automatic is CLEARLY better than the manual. When I worked at Audi, I hated the feel of the stick. Slushbox.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 15:09 |
|
Agreed, it’s a much better transmission in every aspect.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 15:36 |
|
I dunno. I quite like the new B9 A4, but if we have to do the S4, I’ll do a Premium Plus with the Auto in Ibis White with the sport diff.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 15:46 |
|
That's not a new one so it doesn't count.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 16:47 |
|
Pretty similar to yours except added the black optics package, plus I’d go get the windows tinted as dark as possible.
$62K plus tinting.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 16:51 |
|
Car companies should really offer tint as a dealer installed or factory option.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 16:53 |
|
I agree, I feel like there are very few dealers that do still. I haven’t run into one in a long time, and even then I think it was just something that they could/would do if you
really
wanted it.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 16:57 |
|
I believe BMW did it for the 7-Series a few years ago, but I haven’t heard much else.
I’m also surprised that the DSG is so popular in this thread. I honestly think it’s easily twice as good as the manual.....
![]() 02/28/2016 at 19:24 |
|
Spotted today. I’ve seen him around. It’s wrapped.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 19:33 |
|
Whoaaa, that’s funky. Not a fan of the Ultrasport wheels though.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 19:46 |
|
I think those are his winters (winter in Seattle ha ha) because I've seen it on some set of Vox or something similar
![]() 02/28/2016 at 19:47 |
|
Huh, what do you think of it haha?
![]() 02/28/2016 at 19:49 |
|
Not bad. A little for my taste and the matte gives it an orange look. But to each their own.
![]() 02/28/2016 at 20:07 |
|
I think given that it’s an S Audi and their modern manuals have a rep for being a little lackluster and the autos being top notch, I’m not overly surprised. Being that it’s Oppo though, it is a little shocking.
![]() 02/29/2016 at 00:00 |
|
When I bought mine I couldn’t find one in the color I wanted with a sports diff so I went without it. However installing a bigger rear sway bar and end links as I just did eliminates the problem of understeer for the most part. I also understand the sports diff repair cost if it fails greatly outweighs the $1100 for the initial upgrade.
![]() 02/29/2016 at 22:01 |
|
I would spec it as an RS, with a manual, so I can have fun AND be faster
![]() 03/01/2016 at 18:29 |
|
I had a B8 S4 with the stick and it was phenomenal. Better than my 335i was.
Every VW or Audi I’ve driven with the DSG has been worse for it.
![]() 03/01/2016 at 18:44 |
|
American version:
Canadian version(since I live there):
Interior is the same on both, also I did two different ones cause you Americans can’t these beautiful 5-spoke rims.
![]() 03/01/2016 at 18:56 |

Love these
![]() 03/01/2016 at 19:12 |

Daytona gray, red leather inserts, black optics, sport diff, adaptive damping...and 6MT.
